Premium blend of bold Indian Assam and Ceylon with light smoky flavor.

Its name originates from the 18th century camel caravans that facilitated the transcontinental tea trade from tea-producing areas (namely India, Ceylon and China) to Europe via Russia. "It took at least half a year to make the six-thousand-mile journey from the Chinese border to Russia, and the voyage was harsh. During these camel caravan journeys, the teas took on the smoky taste of the campfires.

I blend the T and T Russian Caravan with T and T Licorice Fusion and get a drink that starts my day perfectly. Tasty, solid, very flavorful and enjoyable.

My husband gifted me with a large bag of Russian Caravan and I am delighted with it!  It is a mild, flavorful, delicious morning tea that does not bother my stomach as some teas do.    I highly recommend it.
