A strong organic black tea from southwest India. Produced on the Korakundah estate, the highest organic tea estate in India. This tea is well-rounded with intensely fragrant aromas. The environmental conditions in Nilgiri are perfect for growing quality, full-bodied teas. Refreshing hot or iced.

Steep 2 teaspoons for 4 minutes per 8 ounces boiled water.

This Nilgiri is has crisp fresh flavor, but not tannic with 5-10 minutes of brewing.
It is my wife's daily tea.

We were trying to get the taste of some Chinese tea that we no longer had access to and found if we blended Nilgiri with Golden Oolong we were very close to the same taste. So we have been doing that for a while now and are very happy with it.
