Our English Breakfast contains an elegant blend of bold Indian Assam. The state of Assam experiences abundant rain during the monsoon period, as much as 10 to 12 inches of rain per day. The daytime temperature rises to about 103 °F (40 °C), creating a greenhouse effect of high humidity and heat. These extreme conditions contribute to Assam's unique malty taste, a characteristic for which this tea is well known.

Steep 1 teaspoon for 4 minutes per 8 ounces boiled water.

I found out about Tea and Trumpets after first trying it at a cafe (Blue Beagle in Larkfield).  I was so surprised by the smooth complex flavor(English Breakfast), I had to ask what brand it was.  Tea and Trumpets has spoiled me and now everything what tastes like dish water.

I first had this tea when I was in Santa Rosa having breakfast at a wonderful coffee shop in 2018.  I never like to order tea at a restaurant as it's usually not good. But I really wanted a cup of tea and what a nice surprise it  was. I asked the server what the brand was and she told me all about Tea and Trumpets.  I started ordering it for my use at home and have been ever since. Mark, the owner is very much involved in the business. I appreciate that they send a handwritten note with every order with a nice message.  The tea is wonderful and their service is also wonderful.
